Returns

Chefswarehouse is primarily a B2B (Business to Business) store and our Ts & Cs are oriented toward commercial users and business customers.  We are sympathetic to cases were items are ordered in error or are not fit for the purpose intended and will always try to work for our customers best interest, Naturally, deliveries that have sustained damage in transit, are the wrong items or obviously don't match the description on our website, will be collected and replaced (or refunded) as quickly as we can at no cost. 

Items that the customer wants to return because they are not quite as expected or because a change of mind can usually be returned for a refund subject to the following:

  • Goods sold in the UK mainland may be returned for a refund, exchange or replacement within 10 days provided they are returned unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging.
  • After 10 days but within 30 days of delivery, Goods may be returned but will incur a 25% restocking fee. 
  • Goods classed by Chefswarehouse as ‘Light Equipment’ which are returned but not defective may be subject to a 25% restocking fee at Chefswarehouse's discretion.
  • Large or bulky items which are returned but not defective may be subject to a fixed restocking fee (usually £75)
  • Certain Goods cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Certain Goods such as knives must be returned in adequate postal packaging for health and safety reasons. Certain last-in-line or special-to-order Goods may also be non-returnable
  • Goods deemed non-saleable will not be refunded and will only be returned at the Chefswarehouse's. descretion
  • In some cases, for items sourced directly from wholesalers or manufacturers, a restocking fee may be applicable (particularly for large appliances)
  • The returned item must be well packed so that it arrives undamaged
  • A refund is paid after the item has been returned to stock

If you wish to return items, please contact us and we will provide a specific address to return the item to and an RMA number

The RMA number must be clearly labelled on the package so the warehouse staff know what to do with the parcel

Do not return the parcel to Chefswarehouse registered office address - as this will delay matters

 

Tip: If you have ordered an appliance to fit into a specific location or space or to match existing décor, please check all the dimensions first! 

 

Please note: We are not responsible for manufacturers specifications and features for individual products unless they are obviously incorrect or we have accidentally used the wrong descriptions on the website – if you require advice or have specific requirements, please contact us before ordering.
