Details of our Delivery Service
Current Status (for us and other suppliers)
Please be aware that after reopening of Hospitality after Covid restrictions being lifted, all couriers and delivery companies remain extremely busy at present so Next Day delivery service, although working well for 90% of smaller stocked item orders, cannot be guaranteed at present. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
As per many UK logistics organisations, we are experiencing some delays for larger items delivered by lorry, such as palletised appliances due to driver shortages. Where we can, we will inform you if there are any particular hold-up issues for items being sourced direct from our suppliers.
We do anticipate some disruption to supply logistics for the next few months so, if you are able to plan forward, we recommend ordering your essentials as early as you can to avoid any difficulties during busy periods.
Delivery Charges
You will be aware that fuel charges and transport costs have risen dramatically over the past few weeks & months. We are doing our best to hold charges down but it is most likely that we will have to pass on increases in courier charges in the near future.
Reluctantly we have raised the free delivery threshold from £75 to £100 so order so now orders over £100 (excl VAT) have FREE delivery for UK Mainland Delivery postcode addresses (see Yellow Zone map).
Orders under £100 (excl VAT) are still charged at £5.95 (+ VAT) for UK Mainland Delivery postcode addresses (see Yellow Zone map)
Products indicated as 'Stock Items' will be scheduled for delivery Next Working Day unless otherwise specified on the item description (e.g. larger appliances or heavy items requiring lorry transport). Exceptionally, adverse weather or other transport disruptions, for which we have no control, may cause some delay.
We strive to deliver both Free and standard paid shipping of items held in stock for next working day (currently 95% success rate)
Despatch Scheduling
To achieve next day delivery, please place orders by 3.30pm. We do our best to process later orders for next working day delivery but late afternoon / evening orders will be processed the following day. Call us for advice if your order is urgent.
Orders placed Thursday evening and Friday will normally delivered Monday (Saturday delivery option is currently suspended)..
Orders placed between 3.30 Friday and Sunday inclusive, will be normally be processed on Monday.
Bank Holidays: we publish amended delivery schedules in advance.
Parcel Tracking Information
After your order has been processed and when available, we will forward you the tracking link for your delivery. Ordinarily, this information will give you your delivery time to within about 60 minutes of arrival.
Age-restricted Product Deliveries
Products marked as age restricted (18 years & over) may require an ID check on delivery. We will not deliver such items to minors
Offshore & Remote Postcodes (Red & Blue Zones)
Due to distance, we are unable to offer a premium delivery service (Next day before noon & Saturday deliveries) to postcodes in these zones.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE:
Standard delivery times by our carriers are between 07:00 and 18:30.
We will forward you, by email, parcel tracking details web address for your order prior to delivery. It will provide delivery time estimates and the current location and status of you parcel(s).
Please note your deliveries need to be signed for. For residential addresses where this is not possible, after the initial delivery attempt, parcels can be collected from the post office. Please look out for your failed delivery card for details of your local collection point. For Trade addresses, two delivery attempts will be made before goods are returned to the local depot for collection.
Please note, for restricted items, such as knives and certain chemicals, the receiver must be over 18 years of age and may be asked to prove this with appropriate identification document/evidence by the delivery agent.
For parcels exceeding 30kg in weight, our carriers will require assistance when delivering to your premises
The following yellow zone post codes are despatched on a 48hr service: AB31, AB33-56, PH10-11, PH13-14, FK8, FK17-21.
*Blue Zone: Liquids over 1ltr will be shipped on a 48hr service.
Items advertised with extended delivery lead times (not held in stock) are not eligible for premium delivery services.
NON-UK EU DESTINATIONS
We are normally able to deliver to business addresses in other EU countries but please call us on 44 1568 368250 or use the contact form for information about additional shipping charges and estimated delivery times.
LARGE APPLIANCES & OTHER ITEMS
….It would seem obvious but please check dimensions and access ways for large appliance before placing your order. See the video:
